Philosophy: Children are our future and it is our responsibility to create an environment that fosters positive emotional, social, cognitive and physical development. This is best accomplished by providing opportunities for children to explore and discover through fun meaningful activities and play. As an Early Childhood Educator it is my pleasure to provide your children with these experiences. My goal is to provide a warm nurturing environment where they will feel safe and loved. My daycare program gives children the opportunity to learn through play but also introduces them to new activities that they may have not discovered on their own. Families of my daycare program are respected and appreciated for the knowledge, understanding and love they have for their children. I value open communication with families and encourage involvement in their children’s experience. I believe in an environment in which all individuals are respected, included and celebrated for their unique cultures, diversities and abilities. Staffing: Supervisor: Petra Roelz My name is Kylie Corbierre and I am a 23 year old female. I was born and raised in Ontario Canada where I went to Durham College to obtain my ECE Diploma in 2004. I have adored and worked with children my whole life. Since graduating I have worked in a few different daycares and with various families as a nanny. I have experience with all ages and love being a part of a child's life and watching them learn. I have a 2 year old niece of who is in the picture with me. I moved out here to Beautiful BC when I finished school and fell in love with the province immediately. I have lived in North Vancouver until just recently and now reside in Pitt Meadows. I love to read, listen to music, play sports like tennis, basketball, golf and baseball (although I am not too good) and I also have my Open Water certificate for Scuba Diving. I plan to open up a daycare of my own one day and am excited to learn all I can from Lynsey. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you and your children.
